Roy Karch goes to college

Tonight, veteran director and Hall of Famer Roy Karch will be addressing a class at Los Angeles City College about his history in cable TV, where he was a pioneer in presenting adult material on Manhattan Cable in the heady days of the ’70s Golden Age.

Roy is a longtime friend and colleague, a musician, writer and raconteur who brightens a room by walking into it. The students are lucky.
